Pokemon Emerald Enhanced is an improved version of the original Pokemon Emerald game. It has a total of 684 different Pokemon, 7 starter choices, 6 Difficulty Modes (including Nuzlocke), and many more exciting features to explore.

You have the choice of starting your adventure with one of the following Pokemon:
These starters have been adjusted to provide a unique gameplay experience.
- Normal Mode: Your experience and winnings scale with the number of gyms you’ve beaten.
- Easy Mode: Gain 4x the base experience for a quicker game.
- Nuzlocke Mode: Experience a harder game with Nuzlocke rules.
- Hardcore Mode: Follow special rules, with limited access to Pokecenters and increased expenses.
- Frontier Mode: Jump straight into the Frontier with a starter team and earn BP to expand your roster.
- Followers assist you in battles against elite opponents.
- Each follower provides a passive bonus to aid your adventure.
- You can dismiss followers or interact with them.
Poke Ball Changer
- Change the Poke Ball your Pokemon is held in by talking to the Ball Changer NPC in the Lilycove Department Store.
- It costs 10,000 Poke Dollars and requires at least one of the corresponding Poke Balls.
Autoscaling Trainers & Wild Encounters
- On your first playthrough, everything scales to the number of gym badges you have.
- In consecutive New Game Plus runs, enemy Pokemon scale to your party’s levels.
Boss Wild Encounters
- There’s a 1 in 128 chance to encounter powerful boss wild Pokemon.
- These Pokemon have exceptional stats and abilities.
- Utilize the Genetic Code Mapping System to obtain Pokemon with perfect IVs and desired natures.
- You can increase your Genetic Code Value by consigning Pokemon of the same species.
- Use the GCV to generate an Egg with specific IVs.
- The game features a custom Achievements system accessible from your Journal.
- Earn achievements for various in-game accomplishments.
